The San Diego Region, organized in 1963, has nearly one hundred members with many classic and restored automobiles of all makes and models. Although it is not necessary to own an antique car for membership, one must join and continue to be a member of the National Organization in order to belong to the Regional group.

We have monthly meetings with entertainment, technical discussions and refreshments. We have monthly planned events such as tours to places of interest with stops for meals and picnics as well as overnight tours. We take part in parades and car shows, and offer awards for restorations. We are active in the San Diego Automotive Museum.

AACA conducts two Western Division National Judging Meets each year in the spring and in the fall. These are held in various locations in the western states. All members having vehicles 25 years or older are eligible to participate for trophies and National Awards. Periodically our San Diego Region hosts one of these National Meets.
